SHAPE Summerfest was an annual youth celebration event organised by the SHAPE Team in Sandwell. The event brought together young people, families, community organisations, and local partners for a day of fun, activities, entertainment, and opportunities to get involved in their community. The festival was designed to showcase the achievements, talents, and voices of young people while promoting positive wellbeing, participation, and community engagement.
Summerfest also provided a platform for young people involved in SHAPE programmes and the SHAPE Youth Forum to share their experiences, showcase projects, and encourage others to become involved in shaping services and opportunities for young people across Sandwell. The event formed part of SHAPE’s wider commitment to ensuring that young people’s voices are heard and valued in local decision-making.
