Centre based youth work is delivered in each town from a specific venue. Young people are able to participate in a range of activities around personal and social development, sports, making new friends, learn new skills, gain information, advice and guidance and develop programmes to meet their own identified needs.
Activities are designed to support young people’s social and emotional development. A youth club offers young people a safe space in their local community as a hub. It gives young people a sense of belonging in their community. It forges positive relationships/friendships with their peers and the Youth Workers in the club.
Offering many personal and professional development workshops to accreditation opportunities around First Aid, ASDAN and Food Hygiene and to name a few. There are workshops available around Drugs and Alcohol, Sexual Health, Smoking Awareness, Teenage Pregnancy, Sexual Exploitation, Bullying, Self-Image, Confidence and more.
