Lauren Slater

Hi, I’m Lauren, and I’m 16 years old.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a strong passion for all things musical theatre. However, during COVID, I realised, in its absence, that musical theatre isn’t just a hobby anymore. It had become my life. Now, the stage is my second home, and I want to make a living from something that I love and that makes me happy. My experience in shape, from just performing to receiving professional feedback, has taken steps to make me a better performer than I ever imagined I could be. I want to develop my weaker points and improve throughout this process, but I also want to be able to show off my talents to as many people as I can in order to make people as happy as me performing it. Help me make my dream a reality and vote for me!

Zach Brookes

In January of this year I was diagnosed with cancer which meant I had to put my travelling to open mic nights around the country on hold while undergoing treatment and as an autistic comedian I want my stand-up comedy to get people to change the way they view people with a disability.

I’d like to be a support act for greater established stand-up comedian tour shows.

The reason why you should vote for me is because before I started performing stand-up comedy nearly 2 years ago when I was a child I was diagnosed with autism and ADHD throughout my childhood until now as an adult  I was very much nonverbal autistic which i had to rely on communication device which made me felt invisible from society because of the way I communicate as soon i started doing stand-up comedy it allowed me to have a voice and gave me more of a purpose to be included in society and showed a different side to me that people haven’t seen before.

Thanks
