You should vote for me because my act is something completely different and guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Harmony Faith

My name is Harmony Faith and I am 10 years old.  I entered this competition because I feel dancing is about positivity and you must be determined. I want to achieve, by getting brilliant grades and by becoming a dance teacher. I think people should vote for me because if they like to dance as well, it would help them and because I am a kind and caring person, I am confident and focused. I have performed in front of crowds for my dance shows, for church and for other community events. I choose this song because I think people should never give up throughout these hard times.

Seerat Sandhu

Hello, my name is Seerat. I’m 12 years old.

I’ve entered this competition because I’ve always been passionate about singing and it’s an opportunity to showcase my skills to a bigger audience. Participating in this competition would give me the confidence for the future and add to my singing achievements- this being the biggest so far!

In the future I would love to become a singer to follow my dream. I may not be good at everything, but I have always tried my best at singing.

You should vote for me as I’ve always loved singing since I was 4. It would mean a lot to me as this is a lifetime opportunity which will excel me further into singing. It will boost my confidence at the early stages and teach me about possible challenges.

athena paskin

Hi, my name is Athena Paskin and I am 11 years old.

I have entered this competition because I love singing and I thought this would be a fun thing to do.

In the future I am hoping to carry on at my theatre school (WBOS Youth Theatre) which helps with my singing and performing.

If you like my voice, I hope you vote for me.

star singer – nyrobe mary

My name is Nyrobe Mary and I am 11 years old. I entered this competition to boost my confidence in singing and to show the world my talent. In the future I want to achieve a career in acting, as well as also being a singer with my own songs. By also having the talent to sing I can use that in my acting career. The reason I think you should vote me is because this puts me another step closer to my career, and so I can also save the money for future time and to provide some of it to my mum’s charity in a village called Kisoro which is in the country Uganda, Africa.

The Amazing Kid – Liam Deakin

My name is Liam Deakin, AKA, the amazing kid! I am 8 years old and a magician. I love magic and practice every day, hopefully in the future I will show my magic to the world!

I have autism and verbal dyspraxia and want to show that all children, with or without difficulties in life can achieve anything they want to be!

To win this competition would mean so much to me, but if I don’t, I’ve still had an amazing time and experience and good luck to everyone taking part!

Please vote for me and make my dream come true thank you .

Joseph Sheppard

Hi, my name is Joseph Sheppard and I’m 12 years old.

I love to sing and play my guitar. I first entered the Shape talent contest when I was 8 years old. Unfortunately, I did get through that time. However, I did enjoy the whole experience and it inspired me to improve my playing and singing.

So, with the support of my local youth centre and the musicians who attend I gradually became a better performer. The youth centre also helped with my confidence by giving me the opportunity to perform at local events. I learnt such a lot from the other performers, some of whom had done very well in past Shape talent contests.

My primary goal is to do well at school and hopefully gain entry into University. However, I do have a dream of playing Lead Guitar in a famous rock band at Wembley Stadium, aim high parents tell me hahaha.

I hope people get to see more of me performing as I believe I have loads more to offer.

Beatricia Nesterenco

I entered the Show because I like dancing.

What I would like to achieve is to be a teacher and show children that whatever you want to be you can be it.

I would like people to vote for me because I have trained for 2 years on my hoverboard to dance. I really enjoyed dancing from the age of 7 years old.

Please vote for me.

Mija & Elisha

Hi, we are Mija and Elisha and we are 15 years old. We are best friends who met at school through our love for dance. We entered Shape Your Talent to share our passion for dance in the hope to inspire others. This routine is our first duet together, which we choreographed in our spare time. Our dance is based on being able to survive anything, if you have friends, that will lift you up and support you through hard times. In the future, we hope to open a dance school, so we can help others with their passion for dance. We hope you enjoy our performance and we would love it if you vote for us. Thank you for watching.

Pallavi Ram

Hi, my name is Pallavi Ram, I’m 17 years old and my act is a solo singing act. I entered the show because singing is my favourite hobby and I would like to continue it later in my life. I participated as it will allow me to express my talent with a wider audience as well as help me boost my confidence as I will potentially be required to perform in front of people that I am unfamiliar with. Moreover, my dream is to start a YouTube channel and post song covers on it and by getting further into the competition, I will get a step closer to winning. If I do win, I would like to invest the prize – £500 on items such as a microphone, which will allow me to make better quality videos. If you do like my performance, please vote!

Thank you.

Jodi Dancers

Jodi Dancers – Pritpal & Ravneet (Co-Founders).

Performers in the video – Kirat, Jasneet, Navpreet, Shyla, Taran, Amber, Amey, Tanish & Jaya. Aged between 10 – 17 years old.

Having entered the competition last year, we were proud of our team’s performance and as we have expanded we wanted to showcase the talents of our new members, giving them an opportunity to compete. This competition is a brilliant platform for showing a vast range of abilities within our community.

We are always aiming to get bigger and stronger and would love to win this competition and continue to perform nationally, with the goal of performing internationally.

We use our platform to raise awareness for Mental Health and are partners with Dudley Mind. We released Series 3 of Jodi Dancers Talks, which is where we speak to people who have suffered from mental health and organisations that work within the field.

Harley Pearson

Hi, I’m Harley and I’m 16 years old. I decided to enter Shape Your Talent because singing is my number 1 passion and I want to prove to people that you don’t have to be a certain image or fit a certain frame to be a performer. Despite the recent year we’ve had, my passion for the arts has never disappeared and in the future, I would love to see myself working in the arts, doing what I love and ultimately, making people smile. I think people should vote for me because I represent being yourself, resilience, hard work and dedication as this is my second time entering shape and I feel so proud to have made it this far. I want to show others that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. Thank you and #VoteHarley!

Hi, my name is Isabella Fowkes and I am 14 years old. I am proud of my Black Country roots growing up in Rowley Regis and now living in Cradley Heath. Sandwell is a great community and one that I have actively been a part of throughout my childhood participating in Youth Clubs, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides.

I love performing arts and attended my first dance class at 2 years old! Drama, dance and music not only gives me pleasure but used well can be a platform to raise awareness for inequalities and injustices within our community. If you are kind enough to take the time to listen to my video and enjoy my performance I would be grateful if you could vote for me too. By voting for me I will ensure I use this opportunity to be a good role model to other young people. Thank you.

Legacy Dance

We’re legacy school of dance – based at Friar Park Millennium Centre.

We’re age 12-14 and love to dance!

We think people should vote for us because we had to stop dancing for a whole year due to covid 19 and this is the first time we’ve been able to get back together in the studio and do what we love.

We would love the opportunity to dance at the SHAPE Summer Fest, so please vote for us.

Harvey Sunyari

Why did you enter the show? I entered the show because I have loved to sing since i was around 5 years old and I’ve not really performed anywhere before and it seemed like a fun opportunity

What you want to achieve in the future? – I just want to sing forever

Why people should vote for you? – People should vote for me because Indian men singing in the industry is very under represented and I would love to start to see more Asian people being represented in all forms of media
